Bollywood goes Twitter mad!

It seems as though Bollywood celebrities have caught the Twitter bug and many of them have been addicted to tweeting ever since!

Three notable stars who have been using Twitter as a means of communicating with their fans on a daily basis are Gul Panag, Priyanka Chopra and Mallika Sherawat. The three Bollywood beauties have been tweeting about everything going on in their lives, whether that be Gul telling us all who she’s having lunch with, Priyanka telling us what scene of what film she is shooting at the time or Mallika setting the record straight on just how far she has gone with her latest film Hisss.

Other highly followed Indian celebrites on Twitter include Karan Johar, Tarun Mansukhani, Uday Chopra, Dino Morea and CNN IBN’s showbiz and entertainment presenter, Rajeev Masand.

Twitter has become a household name with many Indian families due to high profile mentions of the website such as Shahid Kapoor wanting a fake Twitter account under his name closed down and Karan Johar asking his followers to suggest names for the title of his official adaptation of the Hollywood hit, Stepmom.

Looks like Twitter could well be joining the likes of Facebook, MySpace and YouTube as a main source of promotion and marketing for Indian surfers worldwide.
