Salman Khan is known not only as one of the biggest actor’s in India but also as an active Humanitarian who is often seen using his charity ‘Being Human’ as an excuse to bring the film fraternity together.

2009 saw him bring together the best male names in Bollywood for the HDIL Couture Week to bring awareness to his charity. These actors included Aamir Khan, Anil Kapoor, Govinda, Akshay Kumar, Sohail Khan, Arbaaz Khan and Saif Ali Khan. His only female model for the show was Katrina Kaif.

This year, Salman went one step further and managed to do what many have only dreamed of; he brought together eight of the Industry’s biggest, best and most beautiful actresses to walk the ramp for ‘Being Human’.

Preity Zinta, Katrina Kaif, Rani Mukherjee, Bipasha Basu, Karisma Kapoor, Sushmita Sen, Priyanka Chopra and Kareena Kapoor all set the show alight and amazed the audience with an immeasurable amount of glamour on the catwalk.

Salman’s decision to bring together these eight leading ladies helped put many rumours to rest including animosity between Rani and Preity, Kareena and Bipasha and Priyanka and Katrina.

One question that did arise, however, was the rumoured break-up of Salman and Katrina; neither stood together during the catwalk but it can still be questioned why Katrina did the catwalk at all if they were no longer together.

It has not just been Salman's show that has turned heads during the week; the Fashion festival has also marked the return of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan as a show stopper for Manish Malhotra's show, the reunion of the K3G leading men for Karan Johar's show and the debut of Sonakshi Sinha as a catwalk model.
