Aamir Khan joins Twitter!

Aamir Khan joins Twitter! Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan has joined the social networking site, Twitter. Much speculation has been made over the past few weeks about whether or not the actor would join the mini blog site and eventually he has.

Rumour is that it was none other than Bollywood legend, Amitabh Bachchan, who persuaded Aamir to join the site over a dinner in London. Bachchan tweeted: “...At dinner with Aamir...  Coaxing him to come on Twitter”. This tweet sent a huge buzz around the Indian media about the usually discreet actor putting himself on such a public platform.

It seems Twitter is the most direct and popular way of actors being able to communicate their thoughts and feelings at the moment. Some of the most followed Bollywood stars on the website include Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Priyanka Chopra and Abhishek Bachchan.
