LOVE IT!!! not only does he get his own theme song when he walk in the room but he gets a cool name!! - I work with children, i remember being a child. I did have a unique name but the reason i was bullied had nothing to do with my name! and it's the same with the children i work with! a name doesn't define you and it will be a HIT at kindy!!
if its his fist name they can nick name him Bam or something 
In all honesty this kid is going to LOVE having such a funky name until he gets older then the nick name kicks in and if he wants to when he is older still he can change it
I think those kicking up a stink are being bit silly! its a name!! i had one of the most traumatic times at school most people couldn't even imagine, if i had a name like batman i probably would have slogged em one instead of copping it all the time! if this child has parents who love and care for him, friends and family to support him, i am sure that the name is not going to make a lick of difference as to how he turns out! LOVE IT!!! i wish i had of been called something that cool!
if anything it might teach him not to judge lol
