From the Hulk-Ghajini to Superhero!!!
The latest buzz going around tinsel town is that, a modern day version of the epic superhero, Hanuman is getting all set to hit the big screens and guess who is being considered for the title role, well it is none other than Mr. Perfectionist of Bollywood, Aamir Khan.
Uru Patel, a US-based producer is planning on making this epic story inspired on the brave and powerful superhero money god, Hanuman. The director of the film will be Chuck Russell, who is known for making many fantasy thrillers like The Scorpion King, The Mask and Mandrake the Magician.
The film will be a cross-over project with many A-list Hollywood actors along side our desi ace-actor-director-producer playing the main lead. The two Hollywood actors that are reportedly confirmed for the roles of Ram and Raavan are actors, Keanu Reeves and Gary Oldman for those roles respectively. Earlier the producer wanted a Japanese actor for the role who knew martial arts because there will be lots of heavy-duty action in the film. However, Aamir was approached for the role while they met up in Los Angeles and Aamir had shown a great deal of interest in the project. But, nothing is confirmed from Aamir's side becasue knowning him and his perfection ways, he has decided to wait until he gets a bound script. That's Mr. Perfectionist... for ua.
The role should be apt for Aamir because he has got the six-pack abs and fitness training by his side... all thanks to his action flick, Ghajini. The project should start by the end of this year, as soon as Aamir stamps his approval.
Another interesting casting detail of this movie is that apparently the beautiful Big Brother winner, Shilpa Shetty was offered the role of Sita but she refused it and excused herself from the role. That's disappointing but that's her call. The search to the find the perfect Sita is still going on and now the producer is looking for a new international face for the role.
So, let's see who gets finalised and who gets dropped... we'll keep you updated on this story further, so keep it locked on to KZ Entertainment...
