Justin Bieber is known for addressing the public via Twitter and now it seems the young heartthrob's massive following on the site has saved a whole television show. MTV recently renewed The Hard Times of RJ Berger, a show which got a big endorsement from the 16-year old last month.

On July 19, the "Baby" hit maker Tweeted that he liked the show saying, "Just met the guys who created that new show on @MTV "The Hard Times of #RJBerger" — good dudes. Show's on tonight at 10pm. Funny stuff."

The episode that followed that very evening enjoyed a 9 percent ratings leap in viewers age 12 to 34. Since then, the show has climbed 31 points in that same age range, the lower half of which makes up Bieber's target audience.

Though the show's ratings jump and subsequent renewal may be nothing more than a coincidence, a representative for Bieber told EW.com that he is "happy he could help good people . . . if he helped at all."
