Contrary to rumors on the street, Robert Pattinson insists he is currently dating no one.

"I don't have a girlfriend, Robert Pattinson insists despite reports to the contrary. "I don't know why. You always think you're going to get more girls after you've made a movie and it never happens. You sit there and you're like 'I'm a big movie star and I want to go out with some models' but I don't know why that doesn't happen," he tells The Daily Mirror about his single status.

"It's especially different in L.A. Most of the women there are actresses and by default that makes them a little bit nuts - not that that's a bad thing," the Edward Cullen of "Twilight" goes on adding. "But I don't really have a type. Whenever I get asked who my favorite celebrity crush is, I have no idea," he is cited as telling The Daily Mirror.

Most recently, Robert Pattinson added fuel to the long persistent rumors of him dating on-screen lover Kristen Stewart after several photos emerged showing them cuddling. The pics were taken while they were attending Kings of Leon's concert held at the General Motors Place in Vancouver, Canada. In one of the photos, the two were allegedly caught kissing. Though so, neither Robert nor Kristen has made direct comment on the matter.

Robert and Kristen are currently in Vancouver, Canada to start filming "The Twilight Saga's Eclipse", which is slated to be released in theaters across the U.S. on June 30 next year.
