Twilight New Moon mania is in full force. The movie opens on the 20th, but last night was the premiere in Westwood, with every new and old media entity alike hoping to capitalize on Twilight hysteria.

Livestream the red carpet event to astonishing numbers, and even Bing was trying to get in on the Twilight action with their own sponsorship.

Unfortunately for the Google search competitor, it just so happens that Twilight’s mega hunk and a frontrunner for People’s Sexiest Man Alive, Robert Pattinson, has no idea what Bing is.

In an interview taped during last night’s red carpet madness, Seacrest interviewed the star in a booth sponsored by Bing, and what happens afterward is pure awesome sauce for geeks like us. Watch the embedded clip to see Pattinson hilariously question, with complete incredulity, “What is Bing?” It comes near the end of the clip, so you can fast forward to the 1:50 minute mark if you’d rather skip over the interview.
